The NEMA08-05HS is a particularly compact stepper motor with a through-shaft. This special design opens up additional possibilities for engineering, since, for example, wires, hoses, or lighting can be routed directly through the motor shaft.

With 200 steps per revolution and a step angle of 1.8°, the motor enables precise and controlled movement. At the same time, with dimensions of just 20 × 22 × 30 mm, it remains very compact, making it particularly well-suited for space-constrained applications.

The NEMA-8 series is designed for relatively high speeds and, according to the datasheet, can reach speeds of up to 3,000 rpm. The NEMA08-05HS offers a holding torque of 0.018 Nm and is suitable for both maker projects and industrial applications.

Thanks to its hollow shaft, the motor is particularly well-suited for specialized mechanical designs in which power, compressed air, fluids, or optical signals need to be routed through the axis of rotation. This gives the NEMA08-05HS a functional advantage over traditional stepper motors with solid shafts.
